The Peace Of Solitude

on

They see me sitting alone and shake their heads
They call me lonely and give me a sympathetic look

I wave past them towards my den, away and alone
I smile and nod at them, those ignorant souls…

Did they not see peace in my eyes?
And the tranquility of my soul shinning bright?

Loneliness is not my trinket, I am not alone
I choose to delve into my solitude, where I am at ease…
