Of Beauty And Strength

I am a flower, fighting for space in the wild
I am a soft petal, touch me gently when I slide
I am a sweet bud, breathe in my scent so mild
I am beauty, don’t pluck me just softly glide

I stand here not as a symbol of beauty but of strength…

I am a wave, rising above the highest tide
I am a drop, soothing the desert with my stride
I am a stream, washing away your pride
I am a current, wild and fierce, making you abide

I stand here not as a symbol of beauty but of strength…

Inner strength is so easily dismissed in this world, as social media teaches people to look at the surface!
