I saw him get jealous yesterday when the guitarist at the college concert slipped you his number. I saw you clench your teeth when the girl with braids gave him a flirty smile. I saw everything but somehow you’ve not been seeing it.

It’s subjective, for the third party what he saw is real and not just his perception of the reality. While for the other two it might be real or perhaps it’s their inability to accept what is real!
