The Girl In Red Heels

on

“Good girls don’t make bold fashion statements.”
“She’s just asking for attention!”
“Strutting around her stuff like that in a party, she has no shame!”
“She tripped over that broken glass, must be dead drunk!”
“That little pouch she has, I know what she’s getting high on!”
“Look at that guy hugging her, I bet she’s hooking up with him.”
“He whispered in her ear, I knew she was a peddler.”
“She’s leaving with another guy, she’ll do anything for money!”

Dawn breaks on her cut up body miles away
No witness to testify against the man who led her out
Her husband walks a free man…the last man to see her last
Why?

She deserved her end for she was a girl in red heels!

Yes, people’s judgments are sometimes so wrong and damaging!

People never put themselves in the other person’s shoes. How would they like to be judged and misunderstood?

Unfortunately, we don’t. If we did, there would be fewer or no judgmental people in the world.
