On The Path Of Truth

on

I have walked the path of truth for long
I’ve stumbled, I’ve fallen, but never returned
Just trotted on and on for years and more to come
To search the ultimate gospel of life
That resides in a tunnel at the end of the track
Where none has reached yet
For the path is rough and our feet too smooth
And a trail of blood colors the trail of truth
Where the cuts of candor are esteemed
But a soothing lie is a thorn in the eye
Where there is one path to walk…of truth
Where a U-turn awaits at every bluff…

Where I’ve stumbled and fallen but never returned
It is that path of truth that I’ll walk forever…

The coldness of truth is better than the warmth of a lie!

What even is enough? There’s a thin line between thinking enough and over thinking…easy to cross it

  3. Well said! I think even if the truth is hard to take, in the long run it’s easier to handle than a lie.

So true! No matter how soothing a lie is today, it will hurt us in the end.
