A crack I hear, did it come from there?
Oh, I hear another one from here
Where is it cracking, here or there?
I see it nowhere, can you see it here?
And then I turn towards the mirror there
Where I see it all, the cracks everywhere
But how did they reach here?
Inside me, breaking me, cracking me here
Moments pass and I am still cracking
My bits falling off, peeling off me here
My head is spinning and my soul cracking
Why here, why not there, somewhere, anywhere
The answer stares at me in this mirror
Glazed with my tears, unclear and unfazed
It’s giving up, the cover up is giving up
I am exposed with all my faults in my terror
The truth is out and about finally
I am cracked and so are you
Today is my day of baring it all
Tomorrow will be yours…
Standing stark naked, your cover giving up
And allowing the light to pass through you and your cracks!
And we go through the cracks in your verses to enjoy reading your poem. Of the best.

You have given me a rather difficult assignment for tomorrow. I will do my best to meet your expectation. I seem to make light of your work, but I am not mocking. You so move me with your talent.
