Isn’t our life just like a board of chess?
No matter how hard we try, it remains a mess
For us who are alien to the rules of this life
End up drowning in a constant strife

You reward me with painful whips
And just a cry barely escapes my lips
Acceptance is the key they say, no point debating
But speaking my mind is my right, if not fighting

In this world of perfections, I am the odd one
Ready to bear with my unending flaws is none
I feel suffocated as I collapse in my own shell
A deep breath… and that was the last I ever fell…
