Sailing Through It

Not once, not twice; love came to me many times. But I was too indifferent to reciprocate with the same zeal. They all left and I let them go coz for me freedom was my first love. But then she came along and all I could think about was how to get caged in her arms forever. The merry time did not last long and she slipped away never to return. I tried and I cried but nothing worked. From a distance as I watch her today smiling her widest for ‘him’, I wonder “Will I sail through or drown?”
