Auspiciously White

“What a shame that you have allowed this unlucky girl to be a part of this auspicious occasion” began a ‘concerned’ aunt. Another one butted in, “Her husband died the very next day of their marriage, she is an evil witch and you want her white shadow over your daughter’s wedding!” The poor mother tried to reason with them but all in vain.

Amid all the ifs and buts entered the ‘witch’ in her fateful color. Before any fingers could point, the bride questioned…
