In Your Wait

When you left without a word, I waited
When you kept me hanging, I waited
You said you will come back, I waited
My wait increased from days to months but I waited

After years of waiting I have given up, I have moved on.
You said I didn’t love you enough because I finally left
Didn’t you conveniently forget all the years I waited?
