Ghost Of The Villa

The villa at the end of the street was deserted, a strange silence hung in the air. He was warned against the haunted house and thus he had to step inside. Breaking rules had always tempted him and not once did he miss a chance to mess with the edict. But this time it was different…

He made a leisurely round through the house, constantly mumbling that he did not believe in ghosts. Nothing happened, not a sound and he confidently walked out with his notion backed up with proof. “Why the hell did you go inside the house and why were you blabbering to yourself” thundered his mother. “Come on ma, V is pretty and I just wanted to tell her that I am not scared of nonexistent people. So went there with her, I guess she’s impressed”. The gate closed all by itself and before he could say anything he read the cornerstone that read “constructed in 1960 by V”
