The Colorless Life

One moment I was draped in red and the next…
You see me devoid of brightness, cursing my luck!
Who gave him the right to leave the world with a text?
Was I not important? How could he give me such a chuck?

With a promise to stay together even in bad times…
We tied the knot hoping a life of love and care,
My heart is filled with his memories, his love still chimes
His death destroyed a colorful life, leaving me behind so bare!
