The Queen Of Hearts

Though I sit at this podium today, away and above…
At heart I am just a normal girl, looking for love!
Amid the thousand whistles, I crave for that one sound…
Among the many arms, I crave the one that keeps me ground!

What’s the fun of being the queen of hearts?

When can I get to hold that man, the one made for me?
When will I devour his love, will I or will I just pree?
Why do I stand so high, when I can’t stretch out to him?
Why do I pose my smiles, when inside I am so grim?

What’s the fun of being the queen of hearts?

I was once left at the altar, in a never ending wait…
The pain pushed me so far; it changed my life’s gait!
I am so cold hearted, with no love inside of me.
The truth is far from this, my eyes looking for thee…

What’s the fun of being the queen of hearts?

  1. Ohh what a beautiful story of a queen in pain. Wanting for love and forgetting who she is. Just a girl standing in front of a boy wanting him to love her as a beautiful soul ..
