Clouded Thoughts

After the hour long discussion with her parents, she retreated to her little den. Wide awake, she spent the night tossing in bed. As the clock struck 3:00, she moved towards the writing table. She had made up her mind, her decision was final, passion over marriage. As she picked up the pen to write the longest letter of her life, her clouded thoughts failed her. She scribbled small nothings on a sheet and crawled out of the house into the dark towards a new beginning. “I can’t quit.”, read the morning light!
