A Shattered Soul

With dreams in the eyes and hope in her heart
She enters the wedlock, filling love in her cart
A life of eternal bliss and romance was her plan
Little did she know, wife beater was his clan

She was welcomed into the new home with whips and sticks
Silence and accepting seemed to her the best tricks
The little hope she still had helped her go on
But pity was nowhere to be seen near the con

Time only increased the hurtful β€˜sessions’
Strange is the fact, men have such weird obsessions
What a life he gave his lawfully wedded whole
Burns and bruises turned her into a shattered soul!
